Join me for a KAL and lets show our support together! You'll be treated to:
✓ A Ravelry Code for your FREE Double Win Mosaic Shawl knitting pattern when you buy the yarn to knit your own during LYS Day Weekend from a participating store!
✓ 3 Live KAL Events on Zoom
✓ Ongoing Support in my FREE Community
Combine solid, speckle, gentle tonal, or long gradient yarns that coordinate but aren’t too perfectly matched so the mosaic stitches will shine. Sharply variegated colorways are not recommended for this design.
A note about yarn: If you are using a heavier fingering weight yarn with fewer yards per 100 grams (i.e., 400 yards per 100 grams), I will share options for adjusting the original pattern.
You'll also need ...
• US 5/3.75 mm 32"/80 cm circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge)
• 17 Stitch Markers
• Darning Needle

If your LYS isn't on the list yet, please share this page with them! The more the merrier!

A KAL is short for knit-along. It's a group activity, where a group of knitters are working the same pattern at the same time. It is a great way to work on a pattern in community with the support of both the designer and other knitters. I'll be there to guide you every step of the way! 🤗
I’m hosting 3 live events on Zoom!
🧶 Join me for a Cast-On Party on Saturday, May 3 at 7 PM ET. Grab your yarn and needles, and we’ll get to know each other a bit. I’ll also answer any questions you have about the pattern.
🧶 Join me for the TWO Double Win KAL Knit Nights on Saturday, May 17 & June 14 at 7 PM ET. We’ll chat about our projects, yarn, tips & tricks, and more. I love having an opportunity for us to connect. Feeling stuck? Let me help!
The knit along events are free to attend. 🎉
You only need to have purchased yarn from a participating LYS to celebrate LYS Day and received a Ravelry code for the Double Win Mosaic Shawl pattern ... OR .... you'll need to have purchased the pattern from me on Ravelry or Payhip, to knit the pattern using yarn from your stash.
The point is for everyone to join in the fun, feel welcomed into our community, and knit along together while learning to knit the Double Win Mosaic Shawl!
There are video tutorials to help you through knitting your Double Win Shawl that you can watch on-demand any time you want. I'll go through them with you during our Cast-On Party.
For on-going support during the KAL & beyond, please join my Free Facebook Community group:
The Kick-Off Party will be recorded and emailed to those who have signed up for the KAL emails by filling out the form above. Only those on my email list will receive the replay link.
The Knit Nights on Zoom will not be recorded so we can connect authentically, while spending some time getting to know one another.
The Free Pattern Codes will be only be valid from Friday, April 25 at 8 AM ET until Sunday, April 27 at 11:59 PM Eastern (that's just before midnight in NY).
Make sure to enter the code from your LYS on Ravelry!
Then, click “add to cart” and then “use a coupon code” before checking out.
If you are purchasing yarn online to be shipped to you, kindly ask to have your unique one-time use code sent via email, so you may download the pattern while waiting for your yarn to arrive.
Please make sure the code has been applied before checking out.
There are NO refunds. NO exceptions.
The Double Win Mosaic Shawl is not difficult to knit, and you are likely familiar with the concepts used to create this pattern. Tutorial videos will be included for each of these stitches with those who sign up for the KAL.
We'll use these stitches:
• Long Tail Cast-On
• Stitches Used: knit, purl, slip with yarn in back, slip with yarn in front, and binding off.
Note: Lifelines are always great to use when knitting a large project, though this is not written into the pattern.
