How much commission will I earn for promoting the Pattern Club?
Commissions are 40%, matching the percentage offered for purchasing patterns on your customer's behalf through the Ravelry In-Store Sales program for Local Yarn Stores.
Based on current pattern price of $8, that's $2.80 per month, per knitter signed up for the monthly plan ... and over $30 per year when they pick the annual plan.
What is the cookie / referral period?
The cookie is 6 months so if you refer someone who purchases a product 5 months later, you will still earn the commission! It is a last click program, so the last affiliate to refer to a customer is rewarded the commission.
How & when will I get paid?
You will get paid via PayPal after 60 days. The reason for the delay is to give the customer time to ask for a refund. Commission payments are made monthly in 1 payment, so you don't see a ton of small payments hitting your PayPal account.
Do you have swipe copy & templates I can use to promote my link?
Yes, absolutely! Your Affiliate Portal has email and social media swipe copy, promotional images for Instagram and Facebook. I want to make it as easy as possible for you (and I) to make money together!
Can I use my own affiliate link to sign up?
No, you cannot use your own affiliate link to get a discount on patterns. However, I love spoiling Local Yarn Stores and Industry friends. If you would ever like a copy of a pattern to create a display sample, please reach out with your Ravelry ID and I will gladly send you a copy as a gift.
Is there any cost to participate?
There is no cost to become a Pattern Club affiliate. It is free to sign up.
Are there any sales minimums or goals to maintain my affiliate link?
No, there are no sales minimums or requirements to maintain your affiliate link. I want to keep this as simple and easy as possible for all of us.
Is there a minimum payout threshold?
There is no minimum amount needed to earn before commissions are paid.

Can affiliates promote individual patterns or only the entire Pattern Club membership? Will your patterns still be on Ravelry?
My patterns will still be available on Ravelry, and I will continue to participate in their In-Store Sales Program.
You are always welcome to continue sharing & promoting my individual patterns to your customers. Knitters can still purchase my patterns individually, since Pattern Club membership won't be a perfect fit for all customers.
