Frequently Asked Questions
When does the Tiny Treasures Stocking Challenge start?
The challenge will run for 5 days, starting on Wednesday, 12/11 at 10 AM ET.
There are 4 days of lessons, and a built in Catch-Up Day and Social Stitch Session on Day 3.
Free replay access is available for 1 week, through Sunday 12/22 at 10 PM ET.
After that, the lessons will be moved into the Stitch Society Membership.
How do I access the challenge lessons?
Lessons will be shared each morning on the Tiny Treasures Challenge Homepage. You'll receive more details in your Welcome Email when you sign up for the challenge.
All you need is a computer or tablet, an internet connection, and a quiet space to watch. Learn how to knit mini toe-up socks from your comfy spot in your comfy clothes.

Are the videos transcribed?
Yes. All sessions have transcription available through the media player I use (Vimeo). Please reach out if there’s anything I can do to ensure you’re able to enjoy this event.
Do I need special yarn or needles?
You can use any Worsted Weight scrap yarn you have on hand (craft yarn council category 4). Fiber does not matter, but I prefer working with a smooth round wool or wool blend.
You WILL need to knit in the round, using your preferred method:
• Double-Pointed Needles
• Circular Needle with a flexible long cord for Magic Loop
• 2 Circular Needles
Please Note: 9" circular needles are too long for this project.
What if I don't finish in time?
This is a small project, designed especially so it won't be too overwhelming.
Instead of using tiny yarn and toothpick size needles, we're using medium-weight yarn and larger needles so your mini sock will knit up in the blink of an eye!
It's all about enjoying the journey & exploring classic Toe-Up Sock knitting techniques together.
You'll get the PDF with the written pattern for FREE as part of the Challenge (make sure you sign up for the emails so I can send it to you!), and you'll keep access to the pattern PDF.
The video tutorials will only be available for FREE through 12/22 at 10 PM ET.
After that, the lessons will be moved into the Stitch Society Membership.
Is there a charge for the pattern?
The Tiny Treasures Mini Stocking pattern is included for FREE with the challenge, but it is only available to those who sign up for the challenge emails before 12/22 at 10 PM ET.
Make sure to download the pattern using the link in your emails before 12/31.
After that, the pattern and lessons will be available to purchase.
Are instructions included for a full-size sock?
The Tiny Treasures Mini Stocking does not include instructions for a full-size sock.
It has been designed, written, tech-edited, and tested by other knitters only as a mini version.
A full-size adult sock knitting pattern is coming soon, and you'll get a sweet discount code when you sign up for the Challenge emails!
Stitch Society Members and Pattern Club Members will have access to get the full size sock pattern for free when it is published as their Pattern of the Month!
