Maybe the edges curl, the cast-on looks nothing like the bind-off, or the brim of your hat is so tight you can't even get the hat on your head!
The key to fixing these common struggles is in how you begin and end your projects.
Understanding the different methods, and how they affect your finished project.
Exploring more sophisticated methods to replace your default techniques.
Identifying the right techniques for each project (they're not one-size fits all!)

Hey there! I'm Jessica Ays, the designer and instructor behind Double the Stitches & the host of the Stitch Society Membership.
I've been a passionate creator my whole life, and I haven't put the yarn down since I discovered it 25 years ago. Yarn has completely transformed my life.
But I still remember how frustrating it felt when my projects didn’t quite look finished. Those stiff cast-ons and mismatched edges used to drive me nuts. If you've ever felt the same, you’re not alone!
Join me in this fun and practical workshop where I’ll teach you the secrets to clean, professional-looking cast-on and bind-off techniques that will improve every piece you make.
I can’t wait to show you how!
"Fantastic teaching, I can’t wait to start! Best video tutorials ever. You are just what I needed to get started on this new knitting adventure!!"
- Kristin
"I am watching you knit and have already learned more than in the workshops I did at my LYS. Lightbulb moments for me."
- Nicole
"I've done a lot of classes, retreats, etc. but I truly feel that Jessica has done more to improve my knitting any anything else."
- Frances
