This asymmetrical shawl starts out with just a few stitches and is the perfect pattern for a gorgeous skein of fingering weight yarn.

The lace is simple to follow, and the only stitches used are knits, purls, yarn overs, k2tog, ssk, and m1L.

The pattern is fully written and the repeat is charted, so you can take your pick to work from! And a Stitch Count Table is included to help keep you on track.

A large print version of the pattern is included at no additional cost, for those who struggle with low-vision or use a screen reader to access patterns.

Kits include a code to redeem for a digital download of the pattern PDF.

What skill level is required for the shawl?

The Sea Glass Memories Shawl pattern is designed for knitters who have mastered their knits & purls and are ready to learn to knit simple easy-going lace.

The lace is simple to follow, and the only stitches used are knits, purls, yarn overs, k2tog, ssk, and m1L.

The pattern is fully written and the repeat is charted, so you can take your pick to work from!

And a Stitch Count Table is included to help keep you on track.

What yarn do I need to knit the shawl?

Fingering weight yarn in 1 color; approximately 446 yards/408 meters. The sample shawl uses Henlia Handmade Bachelor (100% US Cormo Non-Superwash Wool, 446 yards/408 m per 100 g), 1 skein in Frosted Seabreeze.

The sample shawl used 1 skein of yarn, but the pattern is easy to customize to use a smaller 400 yard skein.

Want a larger shawl? Grab a second skein & just keep knitting more repeats!

Do the Sea Glass Collection Kits from Henlia Handmade include the Sea Glass Memories Shawl pattern?

YES! The Henlia Handmade kits include a code to download a digital PDF of the Sea Glass Memories Shawl pattern from Ravelry.

If you don't use Ravelry, reach out and we will email you the PDF after your kit has shipped.

The kits DO NOT include a printed pattern.

What needles & notions do I need?

Needles & notions are NOT included in the kits. You will need the following items:

• US 6 (4 mm) 32”/80 cm circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge

• Darning Needle

• Stitch Markers, 6 total

• Row Counter or scrap paper

Can I use stash yarn & buy the pattern?

Yes, you are welcome to use yarn you have in your stash and join us for the KAL events.
