From Start to Finish: Cast-Ons and Bind-Offs Knitting Workshop

Build your knitting skills and create more polished projects … from the first stitch to the last.
As much as you love the process of knitting, it’s so frustrating when the finished project doesn’t match the vision you had in mind.
Maybe the edges curl, the cast-on looks nothing like the bind-off, or the brim of your hat is so tight you can’t even get the hat on your head!
What if there was a way to give your scarves, blankets, sweaters, and hats those polished and professional edges you admire so much in others’ work?
The key to fixing these common struggles is in how you begin and end your projects.

Learning tips and tricks to improve your cast-on and bind-off techniques will completely transform the look of your finished projects.
You can master these methods, whether you’ve been knitting for 6 months or 60 years!
Creating polished and professional-looking projects starts with these 3 things …

Understanding the different methods and how they affect your finished project.
Exploring more sophisticated methods to replace your default techniques.
Identifying the right techniques for each project (they’re not one-size fits all!)

Pattern Club
Say Goodbye to Confusing Patterns:
Double the Stitches Pattern Club
is here to make knitting a breeze!
Get a pattern every month in the Double The Stitches Pattern Club!

Does this sound like you?
- You find yourself frustrated, struggling for hours & feel ready to give up, when the pattern you're working on has errors?
- You doubt yourself, and worry that it's just you not understanding the instructions ... and feel like you should quit knitting?
- You feel like it's a waste of money + your valuable time when you find an error in a pattern?
- You posted in a knitting group to get help, and got tons of different answers ... leaving you even more confused?

Picture This:
You've set aside a peaceful afternoon to work on your latest knitting projects.
You’re excited to dive into the soft yarn and create something beautiful.
Buuuuuut as soon as you open the pattern …
Your enthusiasm quickly turns to frustration.
The instructions are convoluted, the abbreviations are like a foreign language, and you find yourself constantly unraveling your work because you misinterpreted a step.
Instead of enjoying the process and seeing progress, you’re left feeling defeated and disheartened.
These problems make it even harder to reach your knitting goals. You want to create stunning projects that showcase your skills and bring joy to your loved ones. But when patterns are poorly written and confusing, it feels like an insurmountable barrier. You’re left wondering if you’ll ever be able to tackle those stunning lace patterns or make that cozy sweater you’ve been dreaming of. The lack of clarity and frustration drains your motivation and hinders your progress.
Don’t worry, I’ve got you! 🤗

What if things could be different?
What if every single month you received a brand new high-quality frustration-free knitting pattern for instant yarnie inspiration?
What if your knitting time was even more enjoyable, because the patterns had all been professionally Tech Edited and Test Knitted?

Hi, I'm Jessica!
Whether you’re an Adventurous Beginner or a seasoned maker, my designs are sure to pique your interest by introducing new techniques or including skills that are just challenging enough to keep you engaged.
I have been designing knitting patterns since 2017, drawing inspiration from my experiences working in a local yarn store, where I honed my skills and gained invaluable insights into what knitters like you look for in patterns. As a result, my designs are eye-catching, drool-worthy, and popular among knitting enthusiasts.

My knits have been featured in prominent media outlets such as ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, The Denver Post, The Miami Herald, and The Salt Lake Tribune.
I also had the privilege of collaborating with Marly Bird during her 24 Days of Quickies holiday event.
In 2023, I had the pleasure of sponsoring Local Yarn Store Day. This was the fourth year in a row where I designed a special pattern to celebrate, and made it available for free to knitters who purchased yarn during the LYS Day weekend to
knit their own.The pattern was a hit, raising over $30,000 for these small independent businesses that form the backbone of the fiber arts community.
My patterns made such a splash that it inspired me to create the Pattern Club for you! Every month you’ll get a pattern designed by me. Each one is edited and tested so you get a pattern that is easy and fun to follow.

I’m soooo excited to invite you to become a
